In Kiev, Ukraine, the gas crisis is the main topic of conversation. Apartments are cold, while food and commodity prices are rising swiftly. It is in this context that students of CCX Ukraine (the Universities’ Christian Union movement) share the hope that we have in Christ, a hope that ‘is an anchor for the soul, firm and secure’ (Hebrews 6:19). One of their main goals for the next five years is to increase their fruitfulness in reaching out with the good news of Jesus in a world that seems to offer only bad news. Over the coming months CCX will be distributing copies of Mark’s gospel and effective follow-up on a national scale will challenge students to know and respond in faith to the saving message of Jesus.

BIBLE STUDY: Hebrews 2:10-18

PRAY: For each student of CCX to cling to Jesus in these troubled times, as they prepare this outreach.
