We need to repent on behalf of our churches and their leaders as we are so far away from what the Bible teaches. Where is the love, joy, meekness, humility,peace amongst each other. The biggest failure is the church everything that is in the world is in the church we have no discerment, do confidentiality, there are divisions meaning people groups and us and them. There are people pleasers, wanting to please pastors and those in authority, there is adultery, people taking advantage of the less fortunate or the simple. The world is probably doing better than the church is at this present moment.
There are preachers who say things are from God when its from their own spirit -they manipulate the people and people are so guliable and vunlerable that they are taken in – we need to check our spirit and what every does not feel comfortable is not from God. Always check the Word.
Each year we have a word for this year how many have seen it come to pass in their lives?
Check the spirit as the word says. Because they preach from the word and it look right they do all the right thing that doesnt make it right.
The sheep can easily be deceived.
It is the individual person as the church who God is preparing to do his work that is why he is preparing us in the places where u would least expect.
His church shall arise and it will not be the church on the corner but it will be people set aside and prepared.
Rosie, we can’t repent on behalf of other people. Repentance means turning back to God, and only the person who is away from God can do that. You are promoting an idea called “identificational repentance”, which is a false teaching and the organisers of the London march have explicitly distanced themselves from it. By all means pray that God will change people’s hearts, but don’t put yourself in their shoes.
