PPatrick Woodwardatrick Woodward

Patrick presents the programme and has general oversight of it. Patrick is Revival’s Director of Programmes, having previously worked as a presenter and producer on Premier Christian Radio.  He also presents other programmes for Revival on Trans World Radio to Africa and India  He is married to Gillian, and they have two grown up boys. They attend River of Life Church in Worthing,  where they are both involved with the worship team.

We are privileged to have a team of gifted Bible teachers who give their time free to be guests on the programme, answering questions put by Patrick and helping us to a better understanding of the Bible, both for the time it was written, and for today.

Occasionally we have special guests who have a significant national ministry. These have included Rev Stephen Gaukroger and worship leaders Lou Fellingham and Stuart Townend.  We have also produced special editions from both India and Romania.

Kath HallKath Hall

After two years at Redcliffe College Kath spent 9 years in Nigeria training Nigerian Girls’ Brigade leaders.  International involvement continued for a further 15 years after she returned to England. She married Gordon Hall who was with the Slavic Gospel Association, and this brought them to Eastbourne. They began a Bible study in a coffee bar and from this grew the home called ‘Merrifield’ which was later formed into ‘The Merrifield Trust’. Kath continued here after Gordon’s homecall and was joined by Pastor Terry Brinkley and his wife Christine and family. The work centres on Bible teaching, hospitality, pastoral counselling and in-depth ministry to those in need of spiritual help and healing.

Jane Doré

Jane is a member of New Life Church, Durrington, Worthing, where she is a worship leader. She works as an Information Librarian in Worthing Reference Library and has two grown up daughters.  Jane loves music, writing and reading Old Testament and Biblical history.

vickie blairDr Vickie Blair

Vickie  is  from Alabama, USA. Something of a pioneer, she has founded a number of social care projects in the former Soviet republic of Kyrghystan when she travelled in 1991 after several years of Christian work in former communist countries. Vickie has been based in Worthing, West Sussex, since 1995, but still makes several trips to Kyrghystan every year to support her ongoing projects there.

Ian WhiteRev Dr Ian White

Ian is Senior Minister of Victoria Baptist Church in Eastbourne. He started life as a Research Mathematician in the oil industry before God called him to the Christian ministry. He is married to Ros, they have two children, and his hobbies include photography, computing and applied mathematics.  His pet hates are raw peanuts and weeding the garden!

Rev Richard Brunton

Richard became a Christian aged 13, and took many opportunities to preach even in those early days. He felt a call to full time service aged 17, and spent time leading a local church, but it was not until 1994 that God led Richard to Africa. He now leads a world wide teaching ministry “Living Hope, ” and travels widely, including to Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Pakistan, Romania and the UK. He often leads pastors conferences and has a busy radio and television ministry.

Canon Michael Cole

Michael was ordained in 1958 and spent all his ministry in parishes in Leeds, Sheffield, Manchestrer and London (All Saints, Woodford Wells for the last 25 years). During his ministry he has chaired both the Evangelical Alliance and also the South American Mission Society. He has also written a number of books, and for five years wrote the Question and Answer column for Renewal Magazine. He has continued in writing in ’retirement’ by editing Living Light, that seeks to share God’s word in a daily devotional form,  with an increasing readership.

Jez is the youth and childrens’ worker at Kings Church, Eastbourne, a lively church in the New Frontiers network.

Geoffrey SmithGeoffrey Smith

Geoffrey Smith and his wife Margaret lived in the Old City of Jerusalem for three years from the beginning of 1990, working with Jewish and Arab people.

Since returning to the UK, Geoffrey has visited Israel at least forty times, sometimes leading tour groups. He has worked with Christian Friends of Israel since 1999 and became Director in 2007. With Margaret he is a member of Living Stones Christian Fellowship in Eastbourne.

Sheila O’Hanlon

Sheila reads our Bible passages.  She attends Holy Trinity Church in Eastbourne, where her dramatic renditions of the Bible are well known.

Andy is the Media Producer at Revival, responsible for the technical aspects of many of our programmes, podcasts and online content.  Andy draws the different parts of  Best Seller together and edits the programme for transmission.
