Today, the fakery of the Beijing Olympics draws a lot of criticism, as China bans a girl from singing because she is “not pretty enough”.  They also fake firework displays and “bus in” fake crowds to make up the numbers.  Also today, the power of celebrity as Prince Charles speaks out on GM crops, and the price some athletes may pay for success.
